The Golden Jubilee Park (Taman Jubli Emas) is located in Jalan Suka Menanti, near to the new High Court Complex in Alor Setar, Kedah. It was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of the 27th ruler of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah and was official opened by His Highness Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah on Tuesday, the 9th of September, 2008.
The Golden Jubilee monument standing at a height of 20 meters has five "keris" (daggers) sculptures that signifies Tuanku Abdul Halim’s 50-year reign. In addition, there are also a total number of 28 engraved stones exhibit in the park to represent the history of the Kedah’s 28th rulers.
